In addition to day of volunteering, we have opportunities to volunteer throughout the year. Please check the application to see if you are interested in being involved with the South Bay Pride team with planning, marketing and recruiting.
General training sessions are required for all volunteers working the event. ABC training sessions are required for all volunteers that are part of the serving, id’ing, etc. of alcohol. After you sign up, you will be added to our email list. Please make sure you check your emails for updates on these trainings!

You can apply to be a volunteer on our website by filling out the volunteer application form. Applications will be reviewed and selected volunteers will be contacted.
Volunteers will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including event setup, ticket sales, artist support, and crowd control. You may be assigned to different tasks throughout the day.
No, previous experience is not required to be a volunteer at the festival. We will provide training and guidance to ensure that all volunteers are prepared for their assigned tasks.

Yes, volunteers are welcome to participate in the festival activities before or after their shift. Please note that volunteers are expected to fulfill their assigned tasks during their shift.
