As an annual event organized by South Bay Alliance since 2007, our goal is to promote awareness of and build community in the sizable LGBTQ+ community of south San Diego county area with a fun, family friendly event.

This year’s festival features the main stage area with live music entertainment throughout the day, another dance entertainment area, an artisan area for our local crafts, a children’s garden, and a variety of activities, vendors and exhibitors for a great day in the park.

Bayside Park offers a beautiful back drop of the Coronado Bridge and San Diego Bay. Its location offers easy accessibility from all the communities in south San Diego as well as a mere 10 minute drive from downtown San Diego. Sponsorship of this wonderful Pride event provides multiple opportunities for promotion of your business or organization.

Recent estimates of the LGBTQ+ population in San Diego County indicates that between six and seven percent of the adult residents in San Diego county identify as LGBTQ+. In addition to those in the LGBTQ+ community, many more ally themselves with the LGBTQ+ community as friends and family. All desire to support businesses and organizations that are LGBTQ+ friendly. The 2019 celebration had an estimated attendance of 16k with 2021 expected attendance in excess of 20k.
