Join Us for free short tours with Chula Vista Kayak Tours launching from South Bay Pride Art & Music Festival on September 8th throughout the day. Unlike the busy and crowded water ways of more well known locations in the area, the South Bay is a beautiful, peaceful, underestimated part of San Diego.
Your friends and you can also paddle board in our great south San Diego Bay. Chula Vista Marina Rentals will be there on the beach to rent to you. Right there on the beach next to the Port of San Diego Stage, you’ll have easy access to head out for loads of fun. Whether it is one hour or a few, they have your covered.
Besides the great playground in the park and awesome beach fun,
we wanted to let the kids have a part in the fun! In conjunction with the Imperial Court of San Diego, we’ve provided a variety of activities in our Children’s Garden. Check out Lexy’s Face Painting at only $5-10! Now everyone can have their face painted like the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgences. Let’s all do it!
Let the young’uns enjoy bouncing around in our inflatables! Let’s face it, they have the energy to burn and everyone enjoys jumping around. The Imperial Court of San Diego Children’s Garden has inflatables for both the young (Funhouse Castle) and the older kids (Daredevil Island), so they have the opportunity to do just that!
What’s a festival without a balloon bender to create wonderful creations for the little ones! Come by the Imperial Court of San Diego’s Children’s Garden. Visit Matt of Triple M Balloon to get your little one the balloon creature of their choice. It is a great souvenir to take home as well! Don’t forget to tip Matt for his amazing work!
Bicycling routes along the bay are fantastic so if you want to bicycle to and from South Bay Pride. The H Street Trolley Station is just 1 mile away and the E Street station has a 2 mile long gorgeous bike path to the park. Here is a map of the bike paths and the Trolley schedule.
